Rensselaer alumni and Pi Kappa Alpha brothers, John Delbridge ’91, Jeffrey Stewart ’91, and David Uyttendaele ’91 have been selected as the 2014 William F. Glaser ’53 Rensselaer Entrepreneurs of the Year. 
The fall semester is in full swing and members of the Rensselaer Class of 2018 have already completed their first week of classes. The 1,334 first-year students promise to be an exceptional group. 
Starting classes, meeting peers, and exploring a new geographical area all at once may seem intimidating for many first-year students making the transition to college and campus life. But, it’s not like that for incoming first year students at Rensselaer.
Advanced materials leader Robert Hull has been named the first director of the Institute’s new Center for Materials, Devices, and Integrated Systems (cMDIS). 
The Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies (CBIS) will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a symposium on the intersection of engineering, biomedicine, and healthcare on Sept. 10.
