William Rydell is the Senior Account Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) for Army Intelligence. AWS is a cloud computing platform offering diverse services like computing, storage, and databases. It enables scalable, cost-effective solutions for businesses, providing infrastructure and tools for web hosting, app development, data processing, and more, supported by a global network of secure data centers.
William started his tenure at AWS in Business Operations for the World Wide Public Sector team where he was responsible for the financial health of the business. During his time in this role, the business vertical he was responsible for grew from $300M to over $800M in annual revenue. William worked directly with the Sales Teams to deliver analysis and recommendations to their customers resulting in some of the largest single purchases of AWS services to date. Transitioning to his current role as the Senior Account Manager for Army Intelligence, William has helped to grow the account from $6.5M to over $50M in 2023.
Prior to his time at AWS, William has worked for Accenture Federal Services (AFS), PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Booz Allen Hamilton in support of the National Security sector.
William earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science in Information Systems from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
