Linda Miller is the founder and CEO of Materials.Ventures, a startup advancing battery cell projects by providing services in electrochemical design and validation testing, and supply network design, implementation and oversight. She has 25+ years experience as an operations and strategic planning executive in the high-tech industry. Most recently she served as the Vice President of Consumer Accounts at Sila Nanotechnologies, a next-generation battery materials company. In this role she developed and managed client relationships to drive sales of Sila’s Titan Silicon™ anode material. Earlier at Sila, Linda served as the Vice President of the company’s Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain Operations.
Prior to joining the battery materials industry, Linda spent 15 years in leadership roles in the semiconductor capital equipment industry at Applied Materials, UBS Securities, and Montgomery Asset Management. Earlier in her career, she
worked as a mechanical engineer at Hitachi’s Mechanical Engineering
Research Laboratory in Japan and at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
Linda currently serves as an Executive in Residence and sits on the Board of Advisors at the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business. She is a member of the industry council of the Project Production Institute. In 2021, she was named as one of the 100 most influential women in supply chain by Global Women Supply Chain Leaders.
Linda and her husband, Ben, live in San Francisco, CA and Santa Rosa, CA. Their two daughters are pursuing graduate degrees. She is passionate about Japanese gardening and adventure travel.
