Kurt has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He is currently Chief Executive Officer at Summit Broadband, a Florida-based provider of broadband infrastructure services to residential, enterprise and carrier customers.  Kurt previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer and Board Chair at FirstLight, a Northeast-based provider of fiber-based communications and data services to enterprise and carrier customers. Prior to joining FirstLight, Kurt was President and CEO of FiberTower Corporation and held executive positions at NEON Communications, including President and CEO and President and COO.  Kurt started his telecommunications career at Verizon Communications where he participated in their management development program and held various management positions of increasing responsibility.

In addition to his professional roles, Kurt serves on the Board of Directors for INCOMPAS as Board Chair, A Better Chance as National Board Chair, Pathways to College, and the Northern California Gold Chapter of YPO.

Kurt currently lives in the East Bay of California with his wife and two daughters and enjoys golf, soccer, skiing and travel in his free time.
